Two Girls and a Trailer

Paper. Textile. Found.

Designs that are handmade and made to travel.
Most are one of a kind, some specially made and all have an element of the unexpected.

Two Girls and a Trailer was inspired by my dog Cleo and a silver trailer.

It was 2004 when I ventured north to the land of Mark Twain under an ominous sky, anticipating finding the Airstream of my dreams.  Well, he was there and maybe the sky was foretelling.  Sadly Cleo and I never got a chance to travel the world in our silver cocoon and the poor Airstream... he can't seem to get out of the parking lot unscathed.

Now it is 2012 and he still sits awaiting his makeover.  So while I wait I work away making paper and textile designs dreaming of the day I can hit the road. I hope you will stick with me because the wait will be worth it!

Please enjoy exploring twogirlsandatrailer.com and if you have a story of patience, Airstreams or would like to learn more about Two Girls and a Trailer I would love to hear from you.

Thank you and Kim Hayes
